Metamorphs is an excellent story with great characters and an amazing world. I couldn't put the book down (stop flipping through the kindle version). Tristan is a young child that finds out that he is a part of a special family, individuals that are Metamorphs. The story has themes/ tropes as Marvel’s X-men, a group of individuals with amazing powers. The characters are compelling and realistic. They have their flaws, which is important in a story. A novel’s characters must be relatable, or no one will read it or like it.

The characters grew throughout the story at a nice pace. My attention was maintained throughout the story, and I didn’t see any plot holes. Yuri did a fantastic job creating this world filled with gifted individuals, yet it has its own unique flare.

I enjoyed the ending to where I read it twice. Yuri’s writing style is simplistic but well done. I LOVE it when writers don’t try to sound poetic all the time. I wish more writer’s would write like Yuri. A reader can tell that he took care of his story.

The story gets a 5/5 stars from me, and Yuri earned it. Fantastic job! I really can’t wait for the next book.

The cover gets a strong A as well. The cover tells me gladiator meets X-Men. I really enjoy it. It is what pulled me to the story.

If you like to read comics, graphic novels, fantasy and sci-fi, I highly recommend Metamorphs. The story will pull you in, and it’ll keep its hold onto you while you’re reading.
