Author: Michael J. Sahno
A recovering alcoholic, Mike, discovers his six-year-old cousin, David, travels through time as a whizzer to bring comfort to those in need. Mike soon finds himself along for the ride, and while he gets the opportunity to bring solace to some of his greatest heroes, he must also confront his own greatest demons.
Whizzers is the new release of Michael Sahno. A story of time travel and reality hopping. Mike discovers that his cousin, David, can swim through the pools of time to comfort certain individuals. I have to say that the story was different. Even though GR only lets you rank solid numbers, I would give the story a strong 4.5/5.0 stars. The characterizations were on point, realistic and well written.
The idea that Mike's cousin, a six-years-old, was the time jumping relative was different, but it was a little hard to grasp on that concept.
The world-building was done well for its genre, and the characters brought the place (and time) to a realistic point.
The cover gets a strong A from me. Everyone who reads my reviews knows that I am not ashamed that I judge a book by its cover. If the cover isn’t appealing to me, it’s difficult for me to get into the story. Whizzers beautiful image that suggests traveling through a portal or dimensional rift. The cover does its job and pulls me into the story. Job well done!
I want potential readers to keep in mind the idea of this novel. To travel through time to help others and at the same time, help yourself. If this is something that sounds up your alley then what are you waiting for? Grab a copy! It's available now!
